Welcome to New Faith,
United Church of Christ
in Auburn, California
What can you expect to find
at New Faith?
Whoever you are,
wherever you are on life's journey--
you'll find acceptance and companionship
on your spiritual journey.
You are welcome here!
At the heart of everything
is our commitment
to follow Jesus' path of welcome,
healing and transformation
-- for ourselves, for our communities
and for the earth. This includes you!
We offer you refuge,
rest and food for thought.
We invite you to find your gifts for ministry
on your journey, provide a place to express them,
and empower you to use them in the world.
Whether you simply celebrate worship with us
or join our community's journey--
you’ll feel the openness
and commitment to make a difference
in the world through ministry.
You're invited to worship!
10:30 a.m. Sundays
Worship is informal and interactive;
our music is a blend of contemporary & classics.
We don’t look like a traditional church
— no pews, no organ, no choir, no robes —
so come just as you are!
New Faith is located at
540 Wall Street
near Highway 49 in Auburn.

Who We Are
We are committed to renewing Christianity
in ways that are faithful
to the heart of Christianity,
yet open the door for new generations
to explore and claim as your own.
You're invited to participate
in this transformation!
We are a creative faith community
moving in the 21st century as
part of the emerging strand of Christianity.
We are a progressive Christian presence
in the Sierra foothills, sharing Jesus’ Good News
through a theology of love and grace.
We believe in a thoughtful, questing faith;
that sincere questions are often as important
as comforting answers.
Scriptures are our guide, not a god.
As an open & affirming congregation,
we welcome our LGBT brothers and sisters
as full members.
We are part of a justice-loving, peacemaking United Church of Christ
that seeks to turn the world right side up
through God’s radical inclusive welcome
and justice for all people.
